So the question you probably are wanting to know is how do the remanufactured HP INk Refills stack up?

Great question I wondered the same thing! So I ordered a remanufactured Hp 21 ink cartridge online to compare against the name brand ones I was buying from Best Buy! To be honest I was a little scared to try the remanufactured HP ink refills because I could only imagine them leaking & ink getting every where, but at the end of the day I needed to save money!

Key Points on using remanufactured HP Ink Refills:

  • The quality of the remanunfactured HP Ink refills was good & clean but to be honest the HP name brand black ink was a little darker! Please note this test was only for black ink & I haven’t tested color ink yet!
  • I haven’t had any problems personally with any of the recycled ink cartridges not work in the printer!
  • None of the remanufactured HP ink refills Ive been using have once spilled or leaked!
  • I’m saving about 20-25% by using the remanufactured HP ink refills .. which is great!!! :]

HP Ink Refills | Remanufactured VS. Name Brand Quality Review

To compare the quality of the HP Ink Refills I did a  test as shown in the image below. I took both the remanufactured & HP name brand ink cartridges and printed one sheet each with 3 different fonts! Below you will you see the comparison of both HP21 ink cartridges…. on the left is the remanufactured HP Ink refill (green) & on the right is the name brand HP Ink refill (blue).

After reviewing the results I found both produced decent quality results… the HP ink was a bit more dark than that of the remanufactured but for what I need them for Im going to stick to using the remanufactured HP Ink refills because they cost  a lot less :]
